Privacy Policy

How Mafia Tower Defense (the "Game") collects and uses information.

The Game can be played without any account or login, and does not collect information that directly identifies you (name, email, phone, etc.).

01 Information We Collect

• Anonymous device identifier — a random ID (userId) generated on first launch. It does not identify you personally; used only to relate records.
• Gameplay records — at the end of each match: mode (solo/co-op), difficulty, wave reached, play time, win/loss, kills, in-game currency earned, app version, platform, timestamp.
• On-device local storage — progress and settings, stored on your device only and not sent to the server.
• Co-op networking — during matchmaking, gameplay commands and checksums are relayed to your partner via the server, which does not interpret or store their contents.
• Account sign-in (optional) — if you sign in with Google or Apple, the account identifier (uid) they issue is used as the record key instead of the anonymous device ID, so your progress carries across devices. We do not store your name or email. Without sign-in, only the anonymous ID is used.
• Notification token (optional) — if you turn notifications on, we store the push token, platform and display language. Turning notifications off deletes the token from the server.
• Public nickname (optional) — stored and shown on the leaderboard only if you set one. Otherwise a generated handle (e.g. Player#1A2B) is used.
• Usage analytics — anonymous events recorded so we can see where the game gets hard: app open, match start (mode, difficulty, map), match end (wave reached, win/loss, quit, duration), first match completed, ad watched, purchase. Processed by Google Analytics for Firebase, alongside an app instance ID, device type and coarse region. We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID).

02 What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal data such as name, email, phone, or address
• Precise location, contacts, photos or media
• Sign-in passwords or credentials (handled by Google/Apple; the game never receives them)
• Device advertising identifiers for ad tracking (see §4 — non-personalized ads only)

03 How We Use It

Anonymous records are used solely to improve game quality and balance, analyze usage statistics, and diagnose errors.

04 Third-Party Services

The following may process data under their own policies. Applies only to services actually integrated; this policy is updated upon integration.

05 Retention & Deletion

Anonymous records are retained for operating and improving the service, then deleted when no longer needed. Local data is removed when you uninstall the app.

06 Your Rights

• You can remove on-device data anytime by uninstalling the app.
• Settings > Delete account lets you request deletion of your account and server records.
• Turning notifications off in Settings deletes your push token from the server.
• You may request deletion or access of server-side anonymous records via the contact below; because the data is anonymous, verifying your identity may be limited.

07 Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (Republic of Korea) or under 13 (COPPA). If we learn we have, we delete it promptly.

08 Security

Server communication uses encryption (HTTPS/WSS), and we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

09 Changes

If this policy changes, we update the effective date and notify via the app or this page.
